How about "Singing in the Rain" with Gene Kelly??? You would have to change the title song to "Swinging in the Rain" talking about the pleats swishing along! (Waiting anxiously for Panache to take a stab at the lyrics!)
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

    I'm Kilting in the rain
    Just Kilting in the rain
    My pleats are swingin’
    I'm happy again
    I'm laughing at clouds
    So dark up above
    I’ve tartan round my waist
    And I'm ready for love
    Let the stormy clouds chase
    Everyone from the place
    Come on with the rain
I’ve 16 oz. wool for my ace
I swish and swagger down the lane
    With a happy refrain
    Just Kilting',
    Kilting' in the rain

    Pleats swingin’ in the rain
    Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
    Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
    I'm happy again!
I'm swingin’ and kiltin’ in the rain

    With apologies to Gene Kelly

    Cheers

Jamie, would that work in the kilted version of "A Clockwork Orange", too?
