    I'm Kilting in the rain
    Just Kilting in the rain
    My pleats are swingin’
    I'm happy again
    I'm laughing at clouds
    So dark up above
    I’ve tartan round my waist
    And I'm ready for love
    Let the stormy clouds chase
    Everyone from the place
    Come on with the rain
I’ve 16 oz. wool for my ace
I swish and swagger down the lane
    With a happy refrain
    Just Kilting',
    Kilting' in the rain

    Pleats swingin’ in the rain
    Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
    Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
    I'm happy again!
I'm swingin’ and kiltin’ in the rain

    With apologies to Gene Kelly

    Cheers

Jamie, would that work in the kilted version of "A Clockwork Orange", too?

How about a remake of Braveheart without the silly kilt?

On the hand, how about a remake of the Highlander with the MacLeods in kilts even in the modern days.

Well we now do have Welsh tartans for the remakes of Zulu and other Welsh movies but alas they might still be a little anachronistic.

So many remakes cannot hold a candle to the original as it is so I am against remakes for their own sake and just to squeeze a kilt in would in itself be a poor reason.

However we are talking fun and not reality so pure speculation can be amusing.

I'm watching "The Adventures of Robin Hood" with Errol Flynn, and I can't help but wonder what it would have been like with a kilt or two in it.
