    Any excuse for kilting. You don't really need one, but it makes it more fun.

    I currently only have a Black Watch and under the circumstances I'm not sure it would be the best one to wear... Maybe I'll just wear my Fraser red necktie. Even with Jerry's super fast shipping I don't think I could get a new kilt here in time. That's what I get for not being on these forums for awhile.

    Well, some Campbells did fight at Culloden in both armies, but mostly on the Government side as the Argyll Militia. Of course, "Black Watch" was not their clan tartan at the time - clan tartans not yet in existence! The actual Black Watch, the 43rd (later 42nd) Regiment, was not present at Culloden, but was then serving in Flanders fighting the French....

    I am currently travelling and without kilts (insert sob and tears here) but would be attired proudly in my Ancient MacDonald were I not so far away from it.
