I've seen many small kukri's around. I've got a couple that I use as Skien Dhubs with my DPM kilt, but not quite small enough for what you are after. The other thing you could get are kukri cuff links

Ah, many thanks -- I have seen the smaller versions and I have thought about one for a sgian dubh.

I used to have one years ago from the 11th Gorkha Rifles (Indian Army spelling), but I can't seem to find it now, more's the pity.

I just remembered--the legendary Sykes-Fairburn dagger is a handsome design and would make a great kilt pin with a lot of appeal to anyone familiar with its use in WWII and after.

I think a K-Bar or bayonet would make a great kilt pin. Now if we can just find an NCO sword kilt pin...

Having served as an officer of the "Bayonet Division"......the 7th US Infantry Division, I would love to have such a kilt pin. When I was with them in Korea in the late 60's every man assigned to the division, officer and enlisted and including medics, cooks, aviators and clerks, had a half hour of bayonet training every week
