WEEELLLLLLL, it just happens that I have spoken to Marton Mills about a run of heavy weight P/V. The news was not good. They cannot do any X Marks in anything but their standard 9.5 oz weight.

AANNNNNDDDDD I spoke to Gordon Kirkbright just this morning. He also cannot do the X Marks in P/V but it is due to the colors. His sources do not offer yarns in the colors we require.

He did offer a run in Poly/Wool though. Light weight and almost machine washable.

Their standard pv is very nice for summer wear. It's teflon coated and machine washable.

Have it produced in darker shades of the same colors and call it X-Marks Hunting? Would this be the medium weight pv you have mentioned in the past?

Just so that you don't ask me to wear the mourning tartan in the morning, as that could place a pall on the whole day!

Seems strange that he could do the last run of X Marks, but not another. Could he do a weathered X Marks tartan perhaps with a muted blue?
