I think I have this exact buckle (so does turpin). If so it is from Gaelic Themes and extremely handsome and made of heavy pewter . I have receieved many compliments on mine. This is just my opinion, but I think the round shape and pewter is less formal than the rectangle and bright chrome ones. This makes it better for smart daywear use, though it still works fine for dress events.
