Guess I'm going to have to find a way to look at each of these hats now because I'm confused...
Or I could just decide to avoid all of those bonnets or hats and stick to the ones I have.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Its dead easy Ted.How many types of hat have you got?Two?Six?Twenty?Whatever number you come up with,lump them all together and as far as we Scots are concerned they are ALL bonnets!

Currently I sport a WWII reproduction Canadian Military beret from WPG. I love this hat. When I had my hands on some balmorals in KC it seemed to me that it was nearly the same hat as a beret, but the balmoral had a larger circumference, larger hat band & ribbons, and a toorie. Personally I prefer my beret. It has a kind of quiet dignity to it for everyday wear. That being said, I wouldnt ming having a balmoral for occasional wear.
