    One of my favourites is plain old:
    'If it's for ye it'll no go by ye.'

    It's true and it's a good one to live by.

    That said, the Scottish saying I heard most growing up was:
    'If ye fa' and brek baith yer legs don't come runnin' tae me!

    Thanks guys for the response so far. I had some Burns on there already but I really do like that Aytoun quote!
    I changed the lay out of the frames. I had some pleather from another project so I covered the background with that and than added a large strip of tartan to the middle. MacArthur mod on black pleather and Maple Leaf on dark brown pleather. It looks good with the light brown paper. I hope I can assemble them quickly at work..you did not think I was going to use my own printer ink on this
