I feel adding a way of filtering members by state would be a very nice addition.
Which web browser do you think it's geared to and which operating system are you using?

It's probably "optimised" for Internet Explorer, but I know it doesn't work well with Firefox running on Linux. I use Linux on 11 machines at home, I don't have any Windows machines here and probably don't remember how to use it anyway.

Meh. I have a Mac, so I use Safari, and it works.
Everyone should get a Mac.

Mac isn't so... blind user friendly. Apple used to be, but last I heard there wasn't and won't be much cooperation in this area. I could be wrong because I stopped checking up on that.
I did look into the linux based Oralux for a while, but I'm kind of invested deep with what adaptive software I have, and that is for the XP platform... For me, everything is a key command kind of like Linux can be, and that can get confusing when using and switching between the two.

Yea, I'm a VIP (visually impaired person) and my Mac running Tiger and Firefox works a treat.
I think Macs are brill as do most of my extended family. We just like life to be easier

Everybody breathe a sigh of relief over the vBulletin upgrade. It has been pushed back at least another week.

Like I said, I could be wrong. If they have resolved the issue with the vidio intersept hooks for speech synths on Macs, and I am unaware, I apologise.
But I've also put a lot into learning how to use my speech synthisizer software, as well as, the cost. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to start all over again and buy new software along with a new machine.
That was an interesting aspect of the Linux based adapted software I was looking at... It really didn't cost anything, andwas an all in one platform and all that. You just needed the cd and a machine with enough memory and so on. Oops, that is going off topic.

Guess we're going to have a little more time to get ready for the forum changes. Thanks for letting us know Mike1. Hope things go smooth on your end and it isn't too stressful. Good luck.

Are you trying to get Riverkilt upset?
Actually, there is very little you will need to learn. The user profile pages will look a bit different and you will have to click on a tab in the profile to get to the Private Message link, but other than that, you can ignore the other frills as you choose.
The basic forum look and feel will remain the same.
