I meant no offense Cacuun, your conversion looks splendid. Right now I have neither the time nor patience to do a conversion myself. If it is a conversion, thats all well and good with me. At $60 i know I couldnt do any better myself for that price.

By the way are your enjoying your "old" jacket?
Actually I gave it to my brother. He is getting into kilt wearing and doesnt have all that much right now, but he does have a Cunningham kilt that my Grandma made him. The jacket is a better fit on him than it is on me. I am cursed with being scrawney, he is a bit more broad shouldered.

Being lean is not a curse. It means your size does not sell out as fast.
Until I aged it worked very well for me. At your age I was 6'2", 135 lbs, waist 28, hips 31, length 25. Trousers were size 28 and very loose. i had no problem finding for the lower part. I have a looong torso, shirts very rarely got anywheres near my trousers. The kilt is worn high enough to overcome that issue.

Ah, agreed. Right now it is a curse for me though. With boot camp fast approaching I need to put on some weight, as I am skirting being underweight as it is. Another thing is that I cant find pants long enough in my waist size. To general clothing manufacturers if you are tall you are wide as well and if you are skinny you must be short. Very annoying.

Or, like me, you could be short and stout and have to get everything taken up.
Good luck with boot camp, BB.
A buddy of mine wanted to go up a weight for his MMA recently and had great luck using protein shakes and doing short sets of heavy weights.
If you're into that sort of thing, it might help you.

Thanks for the advice Arlen. Right now I am working on my muscle endurance so I will have no problem meeting the requirements for pushups/situps at entrance. Also, everyday I try to decrease my mile time. Right now my workout consists of lots of reps targeting specific muscles that will be necessary. I just dont have the time to get a full body workout in with my schedule. I do use a protein powder however, and put on 6lbs in a week. I assume that my routine is working.
