A superb work of art, the pin. And a wonderful story. If you have been close to the fox before-- of course he was warning you away from that place. Good fox!!

Thank you for sharing your experience. It makes me feel just a little bit more greatful to bare the name. I think the experience also gives you the greater meaning for the pin and so I shant be envious. Wear it well.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. I'm really happy with it and it looks good on all my kilts.

You can get that one and various others from This seller.

Congratulations on acquiring another fine kilt accessory. So did you ever get to find out if anything bad really did happen that night at the spot you intended to visit?

    Thanks. I really like it.

Nothing happened that I ever heard of, but I went back another time and got chased away by the same bad feeling and a very large and angry German Shepherd.
I've just made a point of not going again.

Interesting that the dog was there the second time. The dog is the domesticated form of the wolf, and the wolf is the enemy of the fox... Kind of like rock paper sissors or something.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
