Grand reason for wearing a kilt. Thanks for the picture.

Ooops, my bad. The relative ages and the order in which you were named led me to think it was the other way 'round.
I thought you were a building inspector by profession?

No, My fiancee, Red_Raven_Studios was a building inspector, until she got laid off by the city. Now she's a project manager for a firm of architects.

I didn't realize librarians are such nonconformists! It gives me another insight on Laura Bush!

Hail to the Librarian and the library's expansion
M C,
Librarians are the cornerstone of cultural knowledge. From colonial times to this day the village library is where the volumes of culture are available for the meaningful insight into the other living and past cultures that are who we all are.
In the wee village of Boston, there are several branch libraries in the diverse neighbourhoods. Our librarians bring the works from the other branches cultures to each and every nieghbour. Just to mess with peoples heads, the branch in a predominately Spanish speaking area, had switched the spell check on one of the public computers to the English spelling, rather than the American. It was indeed a fun day. I am an IT volunteer at that branch on occasion.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Congrats on the new library! But, I'm surprised the reporter made no mention of the kilt.

But, I'm surprised the reporter made no mention of the kilt.
She didn't mention it in the story, but she did have to ask all sorts of questions about it when doing the interview.
