Many thanks for the photos. You guys do these events so well over there and, by the looks of it, the right sort of weather. If you want rain, you are welcome to some of ours. Here in Sussex, we have had one of the wettest Aprils on record and I'm still switching on the central heating in the evenings.
Take care,
Ham.

I just realized last night that I set a PR in the 42 pound WFD as well. It's just that I'm SO focused on the 28-pound that I haven't actually tracked my progress in the 42 pound. Also, I spent most of last year in the Open "C" class, and of the four Games I threw in that class, we threw the 42 twice and the 56 twice. In comparison, both the Masters and the Open classes throw the 28'er. This is only my second Games throwing in the Masters 50+ class.
BTW, there were 15 guys in the Master 50-59 grouping.

Congrats, Alan. Will you be competing at Livermore? We'll be there on the Sunday.
And, of course, thanks for the pics all.
Best regards,
Jake

Yup, I will be throwing on Sunday. That will be my last Games I'll throw at before the TransPac. I don't dare endanger that race with the possibility of getting hurt just six weeks before the start. I won't be throwing at Campbell, though I've volunteered to work a couple hours for free at the Devils Canyon Tent, if they ramp up to sell beer at the Games.
But I'm planning on throwing at Ben Lomond aagain, and I might drive down to Fresno in September, and possibly, possibly to Ventura for the Seaside Games.
