I am pleased that this thread was brought back.

Very imporessed with the kilts that I have seen made in the box pleat. I was not familiar with it at all but I really like it.

I can't wait until the info. is ready to publishing after the 2nd printing of the Art of Kilt Making.

Wow. I've managed to miss this thread for over two years. Nice bit of history about the Tartan's Museum.

I have to agree I love box pleats. Sitting on knife pleats for any extended period of time and I start to get antsy.

bringing this back to the fore front.

Has the additional instruction ever yet been completed for the box pleat kilt? I am not a super sewer but would like to add to my kilt making book. I have three to try to make and then one for myself.

It Was Fun Reading This Thread. Matt Has My Order And I Should Be Seeing A Kilt In The Near Future. I Have Not Seen One Of Matt's Kilts In Person, But Have Heard And Seen Only Good Things. This Will Be My First Custom Kilt. I Look Forward To Comparing It With My Other Two Kilts And See The Difference In Fit And Feel. I Feel Good After Reading This Thread To See Matt Where He Is With Orders Piled Up And His Work In Demand. You Seldom Get To That Point Without Attention To Detail, Quality, And Value.

    Happily Waiting!!!!
