Really nice outfits. The coordination came out great, and your results reminded me of my prom as the only one kilted. The comments from the ladies were very favourable, and most of the guys were very jealous.

Lovely, what a joy to see kilts at proms without the hassle we've seen in a few places in past years. Wonderful your school administration honors culture and diversity.

Wasn't there just a thread from a newbie from Cincinnati worried the city was "too conservative" for kilts? I don't think so.

Just wonderful you can have a good time kilted with no silly hassles.

And, dancing kilted is one of my favorite things....work them pleats!

So, apparently since I was such a huge hit at prom they have asked "The Spark" our school's magazine to do an article on me. yay!

Well I walked into my 2nd pd class today and my teacher (who was prom coordinator in charge of everything) looks at me and says I am so glad that you wore a kilt. I gave your paper (if you remember I wrote about a month back a contravercial paper on kilt discrimination) to the rest of the staff so they wouldn't say anything. However, Kline (our principle) was about to say something as you waked in, but I stopped him. you were dressed more formal than anyone else there.

I'll tell you what it made me feel so good to hear that. I had people I don't know come up to me all day asking my why I wore a kilt, and then telling me that they loved it.

and our afterprom was new york themed. mostly broadway:

thats a hallway in our school

    and the gym:

    so much fun!

I won't say you look better than the ladies--they're awfully nice--but you darn sure come close. Nice looking bunch of folks, and I hope your evening went as well as you deserved. Congratulations.

And I know the other girls were jealous of your dates--and the other guys jealous of your outfits!

I know you were the sharpest dressed fellows there. Good move to change out of the nice tartans for something plainer when you hit the road.
