Hello and welcome to the forum from Houston, TX! BTW, a couple of years ago I went to the Highland games in Altamont, NY, to join the Clan MacIntyre Association's annual dinner/business meeting and also to compete solo on the pipes. Despite the constant rain, I enjoyed it very much. We even had to compete in constant drizzle. To make small talk, one of the judges asked me where I was from. When I told him, he couldn't believe I would travel this far to compete in the rain.
