I'm very happy to hear of your new adventures. We were all concerned that you might end up under a bridge! But, then again, you are "a professional driver!!" All the best.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
I just finished two 10 1/2 hour days with them...so far so good. It's alot of work as we have to unload all the goods we deliver, sometimes by hand. We deliver alot of groceries to restaurants as well as a ton of beer. Good thing I don't like beer, eh?
Now on the the really good news:
I was talking with the depot manager this morning and uniforms came up. We have to wear dark pants or jeans as well as company-issued shirts. She then said in the summer we're allowed to wear appropriate-length shorts. I said great, but I'll have to go out and buy some. She asked why. I said I don't own any shorts and that I normally spend the warmer months wearing a kilt. She thought that was really cool and said as long as there were no complaints from the customers that I could wear them for work. How great is that!! I'll let you know how that goes once it warms up a bit more.
