Question SWK Shadow Tartan or Freedom Casual?

So i've been looking at the SWK Heavy Weight Shadow Tartan 33/38/24 or a FreedomKilt Casual in Black..same measurements....Help! Just something i can wear to work ( after years of pestering i just showed up to work in my Black Watch Tank and the boss said "okay" ) or as something to wear on the town.

I'm partial to the Shadow Tartan myself. That black on black looks really cool!

I can swear by the SWK shadow in black as this was my first kilt. Although Steve at Freedom Kilts makes a decent quality kilt sized just for you (I have the casual in desert camo). SWK is wool and for the price is excellent value and quality. If your waist is 33" order in 32" as they fit a little on the big size, it's not so tapered so your 38" hip might cause pulling in that area and apron curl. With FK it will not have any waist adjustment (unless optioned on order) so you may grow out of it faster. One option you should consider is the hidden front slash pockets, an FK exclusive and well engineered. If you're not on a budget - FK, treat yourself.

And this is how the addiction starts, have no fear you're in the right place.

Yeh well... I've got the tank that's been with the band for 30 years now and a utilikilt black survival that i've beaten within a inch of it's poor kilted life.

Btw: anybody know of of an EBAY Seller named Fredonline321 ? He or she has a New Deluxe Plain Black Highland Scottish Kilt - Size 34 specificseep Pleats 2.75" (7cm) Fringed, 3 Real leather straps with buckles
Size Adjusts an inch either way with the straps, Belt loops 3.5" (9cm), Lined front and back in 100% cotton, Loops for hanging up, 24" drop.
Material is Acrylic. Buy it Now of 64.99
I like a nice short parade that ends at a bar.

Cool, although OD would be great I'm personally partial to camo as evidenced as this and thus. You're already joining Clan Destine with the "dress" Shadow tartan, now consider the "hunting tartan". It's just another option (and looks good w/ combat boots).

Bugger on the ebay....shipping from UK would make for double or triple the cost. Crude.....needed a quickie black kilt for may 30th. ( Pipe Major Retiring )

with the SWK, you'll get your money's worth but with the FK, you'll get pockets and more styles.

If you order from SWK I'm sure it will be there in time for the 30th.
