Great pictures thankyou.I think that the "wooly pully"commando sweater goes really well with the kilt.

I love my commando sweaters. They provide a lot of warmth even though they feel and wear more like a long sleeve shirt. I have two so far and am planning on getting a couple more.

Great pics, Jay. That's one festival I've thought about going to, but never quite made it.

Thank you to all the braved the weather. It was Drike! But all did have a good time, what a bummer to go from 14,000 last year to, how should I say it...quite few less. For those that saw the rest of the bands, Barra MacNeils,Black 47, Dicey Riley, Kevin McKrell, and of course Solas an Lea and the ever great Enter the Haggis. You had a great show! Celebration of Celts is already working on next year. To bad you didn't get snaps of the jousters, they were great. We plan several other events including two Whiskey Seminars to take place this summer. Will keep everyone posted. The best Clan tent went to Clan Morrison. Again thanks to all you true Scotsmen and women. Slainte Anne Macpherson, Director Celebration of Celts

I had a good time, but I have to admit the location of last years event was far superior to the fair grounds. It made for a more pleasant festival (no matter what the weather). I'd love to see it return to Meadowgreens. Plus, I really missed the scotch tasting that was held last year. I'd also like to see Barleyjuice return next year.
I'd definitely be interested in the whisky seminars. Please do keep us informed.

That may well be the Capital Region Celtic Pipe Band http://www.crcpb.com/
Geographically it's correct, the tartan appears to be the same, and I think I recognize a piper who is in CRCPB who used to be in a band I was in.

Considering Albany is only about 1/2 hour away from the event, that's a distinct possibility.
