    Hey Jay,

    I didn't "invent" the kilt pin angle...I STOLE it from this board. Wish I could remember who was wearing theirs that way. Know I commented. I really liked it and began switching my sword kilt pins as I wore each kilt.

    I like it because it looks like the angle a sword hangs at normally, and I also find it more comfortable to wear. The kilt pin seems to hang more naturally that way. And, I don't have to ponder how to fit it in with each tartan when its at an angle. Fits most anywhere.

    Got me to wondering how they got to being worn vertical in the first place.
