X Marks the Scot - An on-line community of kilt wearers.

Greetings from SE Louisiana
I am not new to unbifurcated garments but new to kilts. In the past 30 years I have been an off and on user of sarongs where appropriate. Why kilts and why now? Because I am an old man who wants to wear a mans garment and kilts have always been too expensive in the past. I discovered Stillwater Kilts and have had a very nice experience with them at a price I can afford. I am really interested in contemporary kilts and recently acquired one from Grody Goose for working in my garden and shop. I am quite happy with it and have written a review in my blog at www.oldfool.org
I don't have any idea where I would wear a kilt here in the deep south except at home. I don't travel far from the homestead anymore but I'm sure something will come up sooner or later.
