That looks like a great time, Jamie. I remember doing the same thing when my kids were that age. It builds nice family memories. The cool thing is, they will remember things later that you long ago forgot.

Wonderful photos, glad you had a good weekend, Wolf Spiders notwithstanding, I'm sure Xena and Sinbad had a wonderful time.

I love the pic of you and the kids on the bridge, and the firelight on the F-H.C.A.G. is lovely.

Nice pictures. I am afraid that you ever estimate the effects of a vodka tonic. It would take a whole lot more than one. I need one now just thinking about it.

The boardwalk reminds me of one we have near hear at Big Hill Pond State Park. It goes across a swamp with streams that somehow make it to the Tennessee River. Man, if I had time I'd be camping every weekend I know the 2 of you & the kids enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the pix.

Obviously I'm not too concerned about spiders, but I'd only suggest this for those who sleep lightly enough to be aware of snakes looking for a shady spot.

Too much Vodka could make this a very risky behavior.

I am the mosquito magnet in our family. Despite liberal applications of mosquito repellent (horrible stuff that it is), I still managed to acquire 27 mosquito bites (yes, I counted them!). I imagine the symptoms of West Nile virus will start any day now.
Be well,
