Pattern for jacobite waistcoat

Thanks to all for their input. I have recieved a pattern from on of the german kilties who has already made some of them:






My wife has given her ok, so all that is left now is to wait ...................

That is a RenFaire-ish costume item, and resembles nothing from the Jacobite period in Scotland (1689-1746), though it has a passing similarity to an Elizabethan "singlet" (i.e. a sleeveless "doublet"). But, if that's what you're happy with, go for it...!

I am into reenactment, but more like franks of 950, so my kiltwearing is striktly 21st century!
