Cool! I like the look, Jamie. A swagger stick, spats and pith helmet would really pimp it out, though.

Yes! A pith helmet!
(Other than that it looks great.)

Jamie, I love the Black Watch kilt, but I think I would have worn green flashes with it.
The shoes go well with the outfit but don't look very military. Black brogues, (not gillie brogues,) just ordinary black brogues would look more military.
Great outfit though.

I can think of one or two Major Generals "turning in their graves" over the sandals!

Jamie:
I think you look very well put together. My opinion of the sporran, to be quite honest, is that it's perfect for the outfit. It's not like you're trying to be a military reenactor or something; you merely want to have the outfit look like it's "inspired" by the military. Anyway, I think the sporran is quite stylish with the outfit!

I didn't know I was going to get my costume that day, so I was wearing my usual clothes (aloha shirt, sandals, kilt, pith helmet), and I didn't have enough time to run back to my dorm and get my boots. Oh well! Otherwise, it looks pretty good.
