I was just in DURING Desert Storm, I was never in the sandbox. Actually, the most exotic place the Army ever sent me has been San Antonio. All my overseas travels have been on my own.

But ummm...why is an Army guy standing in the Halls of Montezuma?...

Okay...just a hall then....

Just a hall Ron, actually just outside my bedroom. It's easier to shut the doors and take the picture than it is to find an uncluttered spot.

a plainer sporran might be a better fit with with the rest of the ensemble next time round. The sporran in of itself is very nice though.

Of course it may just be that the camera flash caught the crest and maybe it is standing out more in the photo than it actually does.

Just from this picture, I tend to agree about the sporran. I think part of it is the flash though. With the tripod I used, the flash was just about directly in front on the flash, so it probably caught all of it.

Looking very sharp, Dave! All you other dogfaces have convinced me to move the US Army tartan to the top of my wish list, that is one fine tartan.

Looking sharp. I think it's time to start convincing my wife it's time to get a kilt in the US Army tartan. Maybe I should get the VFW version of that hat.

Great outfit, the sporran would look better with crossed cannons. Go king of battle! From a retired cannon cocker. Looks good though, and thanks for your service.
