I was born in the Soo, eh. My ma was born and raised in Stalwart. Her people come over from Co. Donegal, by way of Ontario. Most of my family on her side is still in Michigan, den.

from Chicago and from an 8th generation Scot - that's 2 Gordon 5th Great-grandfathers who emigrated in 1738, a McIver 5th Great-grandfather who emigrated after 1745, and Alexander (MacAllister) 8th Great-Grandparents who emigrated in the mid-17th century.
