Was that not "Duchess of Kirkcaldy"? Kirkcaldy is the linoleum capital of Britain (or used to be) but I'm not sure I would want to name anywhere after it. I take it you have never been there yourself then as it is not a place where kilt-wearers are normally encountered - shell suits, Burberry baseball caps and hoodie tops worn to exercise the family pit-bull terrier being the more usual attire among the inhabitants of the predominantly social housing there.
