I did EXACTLY that (well...except for the 155 part hahaha)...my shop promised to call me when the tartan arrived and take my measurements again -- because I was working on dropping some padding that had accumulated over the years...but they didn't...and now I have a beautiful kilt that is probably an inch too large at its tightest...but who knows...5 years from now, it might be perfect again!

DON'T purchase your kilts from costume shops. Not only is the product bad, but you'll spend WAY too much.
Check out this link. They have a kilt costume kit for $250.00!!!!
