I've used the Atlanta Cutlery (actually, Windlass Steelcraft, from India) blades on several knives. They will take a decent edge, but I don't know how long they will hold it under regular use.

The Windlass blades are of good quality, and will hold an edge about as long as your average pocket knife-- it's all down to what you cut, and how often you cut it.
