Because I get more positive comments from women when I wear my kilt than when I wear a nice suite.

Because number of reasons to not wear a kilt = zero.

I can wear shorts at work, but they won't let me wear the kilt. They've actually sent me back home to change into something more "appropriate"...
Of course, I'm looking for a new job...

I'll mention one that hasn't come up - plenty of room.

Because its simply who I am. The hilarious thing is that not a single one of my friends was in the least bit surprised when I showed up kilted for the first time. I haven't yet dared to pause and think what their response may truly mean but I am very proud and content in my kilt. Without it I wouldn't be the same kind of person just as I wouldn't be without my song or my smile.
Now a couple of friends have already ordered so they can join me at the summer festivals around the area.
PS. Thanks to the moderators for a great site.

I have the same sort of feeling. The first time I wore the kilt, it just felt so natural, as if I was born to wear it.
