Alex, Thanks for the pics, and so nicely identifying the breeds. In my 2000 visit to Eire, I had many close encounters of the sheep kind. While on the Dingle, we parked to allow a herd overtake, and a young un hopped on the bonnet, then glared at us through the windscreen. The shepherd guided it back to the flock, and apologized for its behaviour. We were so thrilled with the friendliness of his herd, we said no apologies in order, as we were laughing so hard. BTW, the hire car lot didn't give us any grief over the hoof marks.. Maybe it's grandparent supplied the MacNeil Ancient I was wearing...?

Alex,
Great pictures my Australian Heeler was drooling on the keyboard as the pictures downloaded. This is a picture of Joey when he was a wee pup; he later devoured that toy sheep.
He weights eighty pounds now!
I have a Weathered McKenzie from Stillwater, and I love the look, it begs to be paired with a brown belt, and sporran.

I can see the anxiety in those sheep's eyes. You shouldn't have worn the kilt!!

Loved the Rasta sheep. (Tho' they did look "dread"ful.)

Alex, thanks for the photos. After having several different breeds of sheep over the years and Aussie sheepdogs for longer I always enjoy looking!!! I don't miss being up at all hours during lambing season!

Great pics as always Alex - I guess you see more kilts worn at such events than you would in Wales where we are still well outnumbered by sheep!
