Suggestion: Buy kilts you like, wear them when you feel it's appropriate or comfortable for your situation, and don't worry what people think. Real kilt, modern, semi-traditional, or whatever they are called.

If you don't feel like it don't wear it. Like some have said earlier it is a choice, not necessarily a lifestyle.

Oh and don't worry about the kilt police.....it's all mind over matter. Pay them no mind, because they don't matter.
