One of the pipers in your pics works with me. He's the guy in the stage photo who's not playing. I kidded him and asked was he just the "eye candy" and not really there to perform. There's also a lady in the photo who looks like she was trying to look up his kilt. He remembered her and recalled stepping back from the edge of the stage just in case that was what she was trying!

The Frugal Corner
The Frugal Corner had a tent set up.
Now that I've had a chance to see the acrylikilts up close, I'm somewhat more open to the idea.
But what's with the royal blue Campbell of Argyll? (Heck, what's with the Campbell of Argyll? There are only FOUR—oops, now I'm turning into the tartan police. )

Miscellaneous Vendors
Hmm.... Could use more tartan, in my opinion.
I was sorely tempted to try these on, but I didn't think I could afford to buy one if it fit. Besides, I'd be better off getting a Black Watch kilt first.
What's wrong with this Black Watch?
An authentic Scottish Highland kilt for only $115? Too bad it's not my tartan.
Utilikilts had a booth on the Craft Mezzanine.

Banner, sporrans, and hose. I believe this is the first time I've ever heard of these guys. Do you pronounce it "kentre"?
Did your Gold Brothers acrylikilt come with basting stitches in the pleats? I thought not. Two-strap fans will note the arrangement on this CCC kilt.
Roxburgh Red covering this table. Stuart of Bute on the table further back. Not sure what tartan the guy in the kilt is wearing.
Swatch books. The one in the middle is in the Angus tartan. But what about the one in the upper right? It looked green and red to me, but if not, I suppose it could be the Brown Watch.
It's not every day you discover a new Nicolson tartan.
Dance tartan samples.
