After reading all this I'm chomping at the bit to get one.
Should be able to order about mid-summer (not soon enough for my taste, but I have other things which require my money at the moment)

Aye...he's farsighted too and sometimes fills orders without his specs...sent me the way wrong size jacket once but was very graceful about the exchange.

You won't want to wear one of these until next winter anyway so there is plenty of time, just to prove it to you, I live in Canada where we get snow and -20 degree weather this kilt kept me warm on days like that, however inside for any time at all and it gets a bit warm

Military kilts are the best and you can't beat this price.

I'd been eyeing one of these for a while, and with the economic incentive.... He's running about 4 days behind, quite possible I'm not alone here. Will post a review.

Ordered on the 22'nd, arrived the 6'th. The delay was because Jerry was out of my length, so I went up an inch, and it ended up being a good call. I compared it to a SWK heavyweight. The wool is noticibly heavier, and a bit coarser. the selvage was tight, and did not have the zig zag pattern of holes. The pleats were to the stripe, and tighter [5 pleats to SWK 3] and just as deep, and sewn about 2 inches longer, and were relief cut. The odd green binding is wool military braid, with hanger loops. the liner was a heavy white cotton, and sewn down at the bottom. The front apron is folded over, with no fringe. The buckles were black, lighter, and attached by black braid. Overall it is solid, and in the next class.
