My new Freelander sporran
When I first joined the forum, I had a pretty limited working knowledge of Highland attire. I had my one family tartan kilt, and a very cheap sporran. I knew pretty quickly I'd need a new sporran. And, I kept seeing people's Freelander Sporrans. Ron, Todd, Hamish... all these guys had these SWEET pouch type, high end looking sporrans. So, I emailed someone, if I were guessing now it was probably Ron and asked who made that sporran as I kept seeing them. Whoever it was pointed me to David. I emailed him and discussed acquiring one of his sporrans. But, from then till now the tartans kept pulling my wallet elsewhere. But, I still found myself drooling over owning one. Well, a couple years later and I've FINALLY ordered one from him. In a way it's not such a bad thing as what I ordered was a wee bit different from what I first wanted. I referenced some of his older sporrans for what I had in mind. And, he went and made me something completely unique and all mine. Thanks David! (now I'm in hyper-jones for it to arrive!)

That truly is a beauty, even though I've got one of these lovely sporrans I find myself GREEN with envy. Congratulations Brad, glad you got a Freelander built just for you, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Very nice! I particularly like how the antler really sets it apart from other Freelander sporrans I've seen. I may have to invest in one someday.

That is a beautiful sporran. What is the price on something like that? It looks expensive.

Brad that is a great looking sporran. I know my freelander has gotten a fair bit of workl with my brown leathers. Hmmm, I think it might be time for a black one....

oh wow Brad, that's just awesome. It'll look perfect with those muted weather colors we tend to see you in. Make sure you post a pic of you wearing it when it arrives.
