Looks like a great evening. Did you save some trifle for the rest of us?
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I stand corrected. Not only were there rabble gatherings in Storrington, UK and Oakville, Ontario but Cinncinnati, OH as well.
Happy belated birthday!

Happy belated birthday!

And San Jose! It was obviously an X Marker sort of weekend!

Great pix! You seem really to be enjoying yourselves.
One correcton, though. The Hamish pose requires to be on one leg. I believe you would be standing on the left. If that's not right I'm sure someone will correct me. But now that I write this perhaps the one leg raised is Hamish latest innovation.

Got a little Hamish in ye?
'Twas a good evenin', and the trifle was tasty, even if there was Jello involved. ;) Anyone with photoshop skillz can feel free to give me some teeth. Rex caught me off guard. Sorry I missed the group shot, but I had to, ahem, powder my nose.
Looking forward to the next time!

Dear Lord yes. My fridge is full of the stuff.
For the record this is not a regular trifle it is a "Traditional Scottish" trifle. What is that you ask? Cherry jello with mascarpone cheese, fruit, and the occasional almond sliver. Not exactly what we were expecting, but fairly good.
