It was a thrift store bargain my Mother found (I think it cost her a whopping $2). It is actually a long safari shirt/jacket with the second set of pockets not visible as they are tucked into the kilt. It certainly breathed very well.

I asked and I believe it is the International Police Officers tartan. I chatted with one of their pipers who was quite friendly and informative.
