Boy did some of those sets bring back memories. There was a time many, many years ago that I was addicted to legos.... then I grew up.

I saw several of the kits I had as a kid in that. How different they are from those my son has today. Thanks for the link!

Oh my! I never thought of that! When I have kids I can give them all my old legos. We can have fun with them again...err I mean THEY can have fun with my old discarded toys. Yeah, that's it.

Wow that was a great memory lane trip. Thanks for the fun trip. A little depressing seeing some of those sets, and remembering having them at one point. But i'm sure they all just got tossed in the trash eventually or sold at garage sales.

I was cleaning out a bedroom for our permanent guest and packed away an entire box. I nearly just sat down and started to build the castle.

Nice post man, I used to love Legos as a kid, and I still have all the legos I ever got in my parents attic. I told them not to sell them or throw them away b/c I want to give them to my kids one day. I also have all my old 12 inch GI Joes that I collected as a kid. They don't even make the old 12 inch GI Joe action figures anymore, which is a darn shame that this country has come to that. America's hero is no more...
