I was having a day just like that today, somehow since lunch things have turned around, I too am wearing my Clan crest shirt. I hadd the stragest experience this morning, I was coming out of the variety store and this older woman told with a straight face mind you that and I quote:
"You can not wear the kilt properly when the Queen is sitting on the throne."
I was floored by this, after I got back to my Aunt's house I relayed this little story to which my Aunt said "Stupid woman!"
That helpped pull me out of my wee funk.

Maybe that's why?
Anyway, hope you're all having better ones today.
Splash, I can't understand how you could have felt grumpy when you looked as good as you do in that photo!!! It's the look to which I aspire but can never pull off. No wonder the girl wanted to check.

Huh???!!!
What would the Queen using the loo have to do with wearing the kilt properly?
Would the Queen sitting on the throne result in a "royal flush"?
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

That you have... and I was THIS close to a kilt check....
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
