Personally, I always take it as read that if a Mod doesn't specifically state "Mod Hat ON" or words to that effect, then he's just a regular poster (albeit with keys to the executive Washroom).
Keep up the great work!

I agree, the Mods do a wonderful job of keeping things within the rules so that we have a friendly forum to enjoy. I also really dig it when the Mod hat comes off and they jump into lively discussions as regular members. My hat's off to you good folks!

I also want to take a moment to thank the mods for doing such a great job. This board is by far the most courteous, and informative (and yet still fun) message board/mailing list etc. I participate on (and the others I am on all deal with my professional life -- that may say something about my job).
Anyway.... Thank you moderators, and all the members of X Marks the Scot.

Always understood the "mod hat off" thingy. Hard to remember that when one becomes a mod they're still human and not reprogrammed robots. Still I'd like to see a mod not only take his hat off but also his gloves, just to spice things up around here. Just once, please!! Never heard Jamie swear, Glen on the other hand... .

Grant,
I assure you that if ever I take my gloves off and/or swear you will most certainly get to observe this personally and closely!
Cheers

I am in no position to suggest which articles of clothing the mods should doff or don.

If the mods do such a great job, how have I not been banned?
Seriously, though- thanks for posting this, Jaime.

I seen the pics of you, man! You're a skinny little guy! You may want to leave those gloves on... just for the weight!
