I have the both a SWK Economy in black and a Thrifty in Black Shadow.
I prefer the Thrifty because of the shadow effect.
And also because it’s summer, so the lighter the weight the better.

I confess that recently I've been wearing my (one khaki and one O.D) AK's even late at night due to warm temperatures and high humidity.
I don't have a black poly/cotton in black for fear of the color fading.

Would guess the cloth is woven at the same mill and sewn up at the same cut and sew factory....

Thanks to all of you for your advice. I really don't like velcro, so I'll have to make sure whatever I order won't have it.

    Cheers,

I'm biased, get ahold of Freedom Kilts and have one done up for ya... you can beat the tar out of it and still shake it out, put on a tie and go to the ball.

Again, no doubt a great product, but with prices starting at $185 can, not really in the same category as the $38 kilt that the OP is shopping for. Apples and oranges, guys.

    Best regards,

    Jake

Right then, before anyone takes offence, let me explain my outburst.I have no idea about prices of modern type kilts -----we don't have them over here,I think----- so I really I had no clue as to the cost of them. I have no wish to be impertinent, condescending, arrogant or rude so before someone takes me to task, let me apologise for my ignorance.

I don't think you came across like that at all. At least not to me. No need to apologize as far as I'm concerned.

To the OP...I have a SWK economy and I think they are great for just what you are wanting one for. For $38 it's tough to beat. I think you'll like it.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
