No, No Moses, but he does look the part.

He is my uncle. He was always a little marginal in his choices of celebrating, by his hairstyle, his clothing...

He is full of cool stuff like that. Ha also has some of the more "formal attire", but most of it was donated to the Abbaye de St-Benoit-du-Lac when he retired a few years back.

Green is the color of the Ordinary Time (not sure about translation... temps ordinaire) And I didn't have to pay ;o)

So am I, and his beard...

Actually I don't think it's tartan, just a modernistic style of coloring.
It's not a tartan, it is solid green with some reliefs woven into it.

Thank you all for the comments.

I still think more Gandolph the White! But then, St. Gandalph was a member of my order.

It is always nice to have an uncle like that!

I would have LOVED to have that stuff!

I know, and you have translated it accurately. I said that, though, because white could have been worn for a special service like your wedding. But having a range of beautiful copes for every occasion is not cheap.

Must be quite a guy when a kiltie calls your choice of clothing 'marginal'...
Great pics, and congratulations on your wedding!
