Colorado Kilt Night in Aug?
So I know all of us are busy with July, possibly even Aug with all of the events coming up. Just wanted to see if there was a possibility of getting the rabble together. My thoughts would be around Castle Rock myself, somewhere a little more central for everyone. I'm still praying I can make the 5th of Sept for the Highland Games; I have no choice but to work that weekend.

I'm in for August.
I'm at the Elizabeth celtic fest with both of my groups (Colorado Celtic Weddings & Events- we'll have a booth there- and the Renaissance Scots) so anyone wanting to drop in and say hello to me will have no trouble finding me.

Wish I was gonna be there at Elizabeth...no more than 40 miles from the house(I live in the country; everything is far away!), but I have to work that weekend. Hmmm, maybe a free entry, and I can make it after work after all! What do you think, should we try to make it later? Since I am recently kilted, I am eager to meet others in the local area who are like me.

If it comes down to it, you can come to my camp after the fest and roast a sausage or two over my fire.

I am going to look at being at Elizabeth buth don't have any clue as to what my schedule is going to be. I recently applied for and have tentively gotten a new job but don't know for sure yet. They want me to start on the 14th but haven't formally said "You've got it". If so, I still need to give 2 weeks notice. When I start I have to head to Atlanta for 2 weeks of training. I'll know more as this week progresses. August at Highlands Ranch games for sure! Or any other place for an evening.
Birddog, if you'd like to bring your SO into the Springs sometime, my wife and I would enjoy getting together whenever you have time off......and I'm not in Atlanta ;)

It all depends on when for me, I am still in a state of flux.

New Job? Hmmm. Maybe I need to come out of hibernation and see what's going on with y'all.

Livingston, as soon as we can put it together, the four of us will have to get together. Any idea yet when you leave for HOTlanta? Just heard from John Higgins, I will be lucky if my tank gets here by the 19th, but I'm working so much anyways!

After a flurry of emails yesterday, it looks like no sooner than the 28th so it looks like we're good this month.

Yea, if my bloody kilt gets here!! I just talked to the maker, and they haven't recieved the tartan from the mill yet. Apparently, the mill has sole rights to the Leatherneck in that weight, and because it is being made to the Leatherneck Band standards, it is taking longer?? Getting damned frustrated, let me tell you. When I placed the order, John said it would be a week for the material to come in. That was on the 17th of June.
