New post? and photo

OK #1 for the life of me I can't get photos to come up in my post just links. Does anyone have the tutoral link? Someone said in the FAQ. I can't find FAQ. The other thing is how do you get you most recent post to show up on "New post"?

    short version

post the photo on photobucket, then click on the button below the photo that gives you the specific url of the photo you want to display

    type the following: [img]

paste the photo url in immediately after the

should work---thats how they taught me to do it.

    good luck

A post you make isn't new (unread) to you, so it doesn't come up on a new post search. Go to Quicklinks at the top of the page, and select "Today's Posts" to see something you just posted.

No, but you have to post from an online source, and photobucket is a reliable site for image hosting.

Under each images there will be 4 options. Highlight and copy the bottom one, that says "IMG Code". Return to your draft post. Click on the insert image icon on the tool bar. complete your post and hit SUBMIT REPLY.

    that should do it.

You can also just go to that specific thread. your post should be there at the end.

When you are composing your reply and putting the IMG codes in you can use 'preview post' to see what the result will be, so you can add spacing or adjust things for best effect.

You can go back to the composing window from the preview and make the alterations, faster than editing once the post has been sent.
