Try SHIFT+INSERT to do the paste. Sometimes CNTL-V gets sucked into other programs...
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Hello Jock, I'm fine just back from a week on the Dee. Wife caught a 14 lb salmon but I was blank. Not too many fish about. My question was can you paste the Photobucket link into any program on your computer such as Word for Windows or other similar program. If that works then there is nothing wrong at your end and it may be your internet connection, firewall settings or something similar that is causing the problem. Also have you installed any new programs or updates that may have changed settings on your computer?

Just to give you helpful chaps an update of what is,or,is not going on with Jock's battle with technology! The very helpful team at photobucket, once they understood that I am a technodunce----it was me not knowing that rebooting(?) a computer meant switching the thing off, that clinched it!Anyway, they assure me that everything their end is working as it should, so that leaves me,or the computer(can't be xmarks could it?) that is at fault.I have tried all your suggested methods to no avail so, for the time being, it seems that you will be spared from being bombarded with my pictures. Not my week really and to cap it all, when I went fishing last evening, I fell in!

Jock,
I am so sorry to hear of your ongoing technical problems (Heaven knows I have more than my fair share of them too) and I am sorry to learn of your ducking ........................... but I could not help smiling. Sorry!
Take care (especially on river banks),
Ham.
