What a beauty!
Now, I must support this posting by saying that it was BOTH my wife and I who spotted a beatiful kilt the other day, and we commented to each other at the same time!
Why the need to start out with a rider? Well, the red/black mini kilt in question was on one of our neighbour's daughters who is only aged about 15. She's a bonny lass (yes, we really do talk like this quite naturally!) and she was going to the village bus stop with her lad. The kilt had a particular look to it, in that it looked ragged/ripped (literally) in places with the odd white thread hanging below the hem.
Now, granted, she also had an overall Goth/punk type of appearance, in a rather chic sorta way, and this kilt just set it all off perfectly!
I would've taken a photo on my moby but, as you can imagine, I didn't feel it was appropriate given her age. So, sorry 'n' all that.
Still, it WAS good to see such a creative use of tartan on one so young!
Cheers
Bruce
