Dr. Livingston I presume?
Yesterday I had 3 packages delivered, today it was 2 however I am just as pleased, for today I received my British Army issue number 2 dress khaki shirt, from ebay and my Wolseley Pith Helmet from the Village Hat Shop, as I do not have a Black Watch kilt I teamed them up with the Gordon Highlander kilt and khaki hose from What Price Glory. I feel as though I am ready to explore the Dark Continent in search of Dr. Livingston, a tad theatrical no doubt however I do think it shall help at the Fergus Highland Games.
I wonder will the Wolseley Pith Helmet and Khaki Shirt become the "Uniform" of the Moderating Staff?

I think the khaki works very well with the Gordon tartan.

I should think that the XMTS Highland Explorer Corps is open to all.
See you at the officers club

Oh noes!
Now I definitely have to get a job in the U.S.P.S. just so I can get a pith helmet and catch up!
Looking very, very smart, Glen.

You know, you lot are looking suspiciously like you're auditioning for a re-make of "Abbot and Costello Meet the Mummy".
...that or "Carry On Up The Khyber".

I suspect that Panache is gearing up for another expedition and is getting his crew outfitted.

I must say I'm just a bit alarmed at all these pithy developments. Next there will be a run on swagger sticks on Ebay. Maybe we can subvert them with gin.

No need to worry, all we need to do is issue the "pithy ones" a raw onion each to hang around their necks and a volume of the Greek classics to read and they will soon come to their senses!Well, that's assuming they have senses.

Don't forget the onion on the string around your neck.
Seriously though, it is a bit theatrical but no more so than the "Jacobite look" (and far more practical in the heat of summer).
