    This skinny guy

I'm a skinny or slim build guy as I prefer to call it, and when I wear the kilt with hose pushed down my legs do look kinda funny. So I only do the hose down thing at home and never out and about.
I have never been complimented on my appearence but people do sometimes comment on my wearing the kilt ie; never seen a camouflage kilt before.
Anyway I take it all in my stride as I have always been different since school days and have learned to live with it and sometimes use it to my advantage.
I believe you have to come to terms with who and what you are and when you've done that you will be successful and happy in life.
Me, I'm still on that road.

I'm large, plain and simple. 52 around the middle and 5ft 11in tall. I'm working on loosing some sizes, aiming at maybe 40? Not sure what I'm aiming for yet. I "was" around 58 so I've lost some inches.

Anyway, not sure how I look in a kilt, that remains to be seen. However I have not seen anyone yet who looks bad in a kilt.

While I agree that a well-worn kilt beats all, on any body type.....I have to say, the less men that wear them, the more babes for the rest of us! Their loss!

I'm afraid I have to agree with you. I LIKE being the 'man in the kilt' when I go places.

Okay, I admit it, I like the attention from the ladies that the 'man in the kilt' gets.

    Real Men Wear Kilts!!!!!!!

I think a man wearing a kilt says a great deal about them. They are intelligent to know what they are wearing. They are loyal to their heritage. They are tough and have a thick skin because of all the jerks out there that think it's a skirt. And there is a higher than average chance that there is nothing beneath that kilt (shoes and kilt hose being excluded).

Ok and it's sexy. *wicked grins*

I'm not much for attention and also married. Due to these two and from all I'm hearing about "ladies" approaching men in kilts, and since my wedding ring is now too large to wear... today I picked up a nice replacement ring that should be here within 2 weeks (has to be sized)

Anyway, I have to agree that a properly worn kilt does look good on pretty much anyone.

I'm just a little small to call mine an athletic build, but I still always get good comments, I've learned to just tune out the bad.
