To the Prosser Games, I wore the same kilt as you, a dark blue XMARKSTHESCOT.com T-shirt (no longer available), navy hose, black Pony athletic shoes, black belt, black leather Nightstalker sporran, green flashes and a smile. Be casual and be cool.

Well alright,I know nothing about US style games and fairs,I know little about the weather that you have, other than it is hot!I am also a traditional kilt wearing Scot, but I can see that you wish to do justice to yourself and the kilt.Nothing wrong in that,so to begin with, on your kilt wearing escapades, don't try to be too trendy, be conservative, that way you will KNOW that your kilt is at the "proper" height, you will KNOW that your shoes and sporran colours match, you will KNOW your flashes are correctly positioned, you will KNOW your shirt is not too way out(polo shirt sounds good)etc.,etc., in that way if you are starting to doubt your choices, you KNOW that all is well. When you have been to a few events and have built up your confidence, then, that is the time to be more adventurous! In the meantime keep your eyes open to get ideas from others at these events and most importantly,HAVE FUN.
