Colo. kilt night in Aug...16th?
Hey guys,
A single lady friend of my wife's is coming in to town the weekend of the 15th through the 17th, and we are going to take her to Jack Quinn's Sat. the 16th. I will be kilted, and thought perhaps others from the rabble would want to join and have fun.

That works for me. I should be home from Hotlanta and ready for a kilt night. I'll have to confirm with the new job and the wife but sounds good.

Sounds good, been wanting to get together, but with my schedule and your new job, it has been difficult.

This is something I might be able to attend as well. Depends on the fiancee's agenda as much as my desire to hang out!

Cat, Brian, Don, Nighthawk, any of you guys think your going to make it on Sat, the 16th? Turns out that day, My Dallas Cowboys play at Denver Broncos in preseason as well. Hmm, wonder how a football jersey would look with a kilt...This is my first attempt at organizing a kilt night, should we make some sort of reservation?

I am hoping to make it, but I can't RSVP until closer to that time. My fiancee's the one who makes the plans, and I never usually know what's going on until closer! Sometimes a few minutes beforehand.

A member of the forum who doesn't post much might be in Denver that weekend. If anything does get fixed for a meet, could you post the details so that a out-of-town visitor could join you?

I'm still not sure, but have it marked on my calendar.

Jack Quinn's is in downtown Colorado Springs. A very nice place, my wife and I like to go there when downtown.

If they need a map, I'm sure mapquest would work. A word though, that would be a bit of a drive back to Denver. If any of the Denver or Northern folks are thinking of coming down, it might be best to get a room downtown. The more that can make it, the merrier.
The last time I talked to Big Paddy, they said that they would be playing that night. They are a pretty good band, sort of like Dropkick Murphy or Flogging Mollies, but not as extreme.
